A for Altrusa, B for babies, simple as ABC

Ashburton babies born this month will have the opportunity to start learning the alphabet from a young age thanks to the generosity of Altrusa International of Ashburton. It is presenting laminated letters of the alphabet to all babies who pass through the Ashburton Maternity Centre during October. Around 30 babies are booked in during the month. Each October Altrusa clubs celebrate Make A Difference Day by focusing on literacy. Photo: Jesse and Nicole Wilde with baby Aria.
