CBD streetscape renewal work resumes on Tuesday when country drops to alert level 3

Tru-Line Civil contractors working on the CBD revamp are (from left) Patrick Kelly, Ben Hack, Shannon Penney, project manager Conor Redmond, Barry Timmins and Jason Knight.

Construction crews working on the CBD streetscape renewal project will be back on the job on Tuesday.
Tru-Line Civil workers had to stop when the country went into Alert Level 4 lockdown on March 25 but will be resuming on Tuesday when we move to Alert Level 3.
Their team has put in a lot of work to ensure staff will be able to work safely following the Government-set protocols for working at level 3.
The initial work will be stormwater pipeline installation on Cass Street, wastewater pipeline installation on Tancred Street (between Cass and East), rain garden construction on Cass Street (eastern side) and the new watermain pipeline hookup on Tancred Street/Cass Street (the pipeline was installed prior to lockdown).
‘‘Both the Ashburton District Council and Tru-Line Civil are conscious of the impact that the Covid-19 lockdown has had on all residents and many businesses in the Ashburton District,’’ council said today. ‘‘With this in mind, Tru-Line Civil will be working hard to get back on track and try to minimise the impact this ongoing project will have on CBD businesses as they start to emerge from the lockdown period.’’jordan release dateGifts for Runners
