Allenton School pupils have raised more than $14,600 during the Heart Foundation’s Jumping June.
Pupils have been skipping, jumping or using ropes and hola hoops as part of the month-long skipping event to get kids moving and raising funds for a good cause.
“As a school we have already raised $14,619,” she said, ahead of a school-wide jump session last week.
Fundraising will continue through until the end of the month, she said.
Proceeds raised during Jumping June support the Heart Foundation in their goal to help everyone in New Zealand keep their hearts fit for life.
It was a way to raise funds, have fun and keep the hearts of tamariki healthy.
