Ashburton youth hub 193 Youth wants surplus coats for local kids.

The Coats For Kids campaign has distributed hundreds of coats over the last few years and the need was still there, said youth support worker Jenny Rae.

“We’ve had a really good response in the past, so ahead of winter again, we’re keen to see more surplus, good quality coats donated.

“The coats will be passed on to those who need them and will help ease the financial burden on families,” said Mrs Rae.

Coats that are too small this year, could be swapped for bigger ones, she said.

Donated coats can be dropped off at Community House Mid Canterbury, Ashburton New World and at 193 Youth, located at 193 Burnett Street.

Those wanting a coat can visit 193 Youth between 2pm and 5.30pm during the week.Best Authentic SneakersNike Air Max 270
