Talley's is a successful and well known brand, operating several plants throughout the South Island, as well as having many diversified interests in seafood, frozen vegetables, meat and dairy products. We currently have vacancies at our Fairton plant, located 10 minutes drive from Ashburton. We are seeking motivated people with a can-do attitude to join our ever-growing teams.
General Hands/Line Inspection
You'll inspect and grade product during processing, assist the operators to achieve the Company targets and goals, and maintain food safety, health & safety, sanitation and quality standards.
Factory Process Operators
We are seeking skilled workers with proven industry experience and relevant knowledge in quality assessment, compliance needs and raw product/final product analysis. You'll be practiced in operating the specialised machinery to the requirements of food safety, health & safety and all industry standards.
We require high levels of competence, along with an acceptable level of multitasking and controlling a variety of machines in unison as a prerequisite. Operators in this
area need to be adaptable and experienced in all facets, as this is crucial to effective and efficient productivity. You'll be practiced in operating the specialised machinery to the requirements of food safety, health & safety and all industry standards.
You'll examine manufactured products and primary produce to ensure conformity to specifications and standards of presentation and quality. Qualification is not required
as full training will be given to the right candidate.
