The Wiggins family of Ashburton, in matching festive attire, were among the scores of people at the Light up The Night festive event in downtown Ashburton on Saturday. Many others also dressed up for the occasion which was full of performances and entertainment. It also saw eight-year-old Heidi McLennan from Tinwald School have the honour of turning on the lights of the town’s giant Christmas tree.
