Passed peacefully while gardening at home in Ashburton on April 8, 2026 doing what he loved. Aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Joan for 60 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Suzanne and Gavin; John and Carlene; Simon and Debbie; Christine; and Brendon and Tess. Cherished Grandad of Marc, and Ashley; Ellie, Maria, Liam, and Charlie; Trent, and Jasmine; Cody; and Nathan. Adored Great-Grandad of Colin. Your labour is done, your home is now heaven.
