The family are sad to announce the passing of Hank after a long illness, at Radius Millstream, Ashburton on Monday May 25, 2026, aged 78. Cherished husband of Kate and father and father in law of Jayne & Peter McLaren, Tara & Phil Newton and Willie & Jessica Murney. A fun loving Pa to James, Charlotte, Paddy, Tim, Connie and Ollie. A celebration of Hank’s life will be held at the Hotel Ashburton, Racecourse Road on Sunday May 31st commencing at 1.30pm. Followed by a private committal on Monday.
