Sadly, Lynsey lost his short but valiant battle and passed on peacefully in the comforting presence of his sister Catherine and his niece Shirley on Friday, 22 August, 2025, aged 87. Devoted and caring son of George & Rita (both deceased). Brother and brother-in-law of Roger & Joan (both deceased), his twin Alistair & Julianne (both deceased), Margaret & Ian Haigh (deceased), Gavin (deceased) & Raylene, and Catherine Hasty. Treasured uncle of all his nieces and nephews and an interested great-uncle. Shirley is extremely grateful for the competent care and compassion given to Lynsey by his surgical team and the staff at Christchurch Public Hospital.
