EA Networks Centre is holding a fun-filled kids activity day on Wednesday 15 August on the day of the teacher’s trike.
Parents unsure what to do with their primary school-aged children on the strike day can now register for them to attend the activity day, which will include swimming and games inside the stadium.
The day will run during normal school hours from 8.30am until 3.30pm and will cost $30.00 per child.
Sports Facility Manager Steven Prescott says, “We understand some parents don’t have many options for their children if they can’t be at school. If you need somewhere for your child to go where they’ll be looked after and kept entertained, contact us as soon as possible as we only have 60 spots available.”
Children will be required to bring their own morning tea, lunch and snacks for the day. It is open to all school children between the ages of five and 12. Half day bookings are not available.
If the strike does not go ahead, parents will be refunded with a $30 gift voucher that can be used for anything at the EA Networks Centre.
