The function room at Presbyterian Support in Ashburton is a brighter more cheerful space, thanks to the artistic skills of pupils from Netherby School, who created a series of artwork for the room. Susan Hutchinson, Ashburton services manager for Presbyterian Support, said the function room was used by staff and other groups – and it needed brightening. Sue Thompson, a social worker in schools, said she noticed the artwork in the foyer at Netherby School, and the children were asked to come up with art for the function room. The art was delivered this week.
