It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Warren Robert Imms, who passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on 28 July 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Cherished and devoted husband of Meeling. Treasured father of Dianna and Dion Smith, Amanda and Tom Kerekere, and Angelique and Stefan Protheroe. Much-loved grandfather of Jordan, and Bailey Imms-Protheroe, and Rhys, and Aaliyah Kerekere. Beloved brother of Maxine and Robert Hayson, Robyn and Tony Grant. A dearly loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A gentle soul and lifelong friend, Warren will be forever remembered and deeply missed. A farewell was held at Paterson’s Funeral Home, Ashburton, on 31 July 2025. The family extend heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of Terrace View Rest Home, Ward 1 Ashburton Hospital, and Paterson’s Funeral Home for their kindness and support. “Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.”
