St Joseph’s School children across all year levels are presenting two performances of the incredible story of Noah’s Ark to the public
The musical production entitled All Aboard will stage at the Ashburton Event Centre, tomorrow at 11am and 6.30pm.
It will go for about one hour and feature catchy songs, dance, and bright and vibrant costumes.
Principal Cath Blacklow said each class would have their own opportunity to shine on stage.
‘‘This fun show which was written and directed by three of our very own teachers and talented year 8 students tells the story of Noah, who builds a giant boat to save his family and all the animals from a big flood.
The story is centred around gathering all the creatures, big and small, and sailing on an incredible journey through the storm to a brand-new beginning,’’ Blacklow said.
Director and teacher Catherine Rush said rehearsals had gone well.
‘‘It is amazing to see the talent that we have here in our small school. Everyone has worked hard to pull it all together for two wonderful shows,’’ Rush said.
Tickets are available at the event centre.
