Artists have a few days to enter the Ashburton Society of Arts 61st annual exhibition at the Ashburton Art Gallery.
Entries close on Tuesday.
The exhibition, at the Ashburton Art Gallery from Monday, July 7 until Friday, August 1, allows artists to showcase brand new pieces of art with multiple awards available.
An official opening night reception and awards presentation is planned for July 7.
Guest artists include Gawie Bosman (metal sculptor) from Southbridge who won last year’s premier award, Renata Pryzgona (landscape painter), Maysie Willis (pencil drawer), Mark James (Raku pottery) and Jan Byres (landscape painter).
Opening night reception and awards tickets can bought from the Ashburton Art Gallery reception desk or through the Ashburton Art Society website. Tickets are limited.
