On April 29, 2026, peacefully at Rosebank Lifecare, Ashburton, with Bruce by her side. Dearly loved wife of Bruce for 61 years. Much loved and adored mother and mother-in-law of Greg and Pip, Andrew and Lou, and Jo and Phill. Treasured Nana Mary of Madeline, Ella, Grace, Siobhan, and Annie; James, Glen, and Scott; and Lila, and Albie. Loved great-Nana Mary of Te Ari’i, Tamatoa, Francesca, and Ryland. FRANCIS Mary Louise – Mary died peacefully at Rosebank Lifecare, Ashburton on Wednesday morning, April 29, 2026 in her 85th year, with Bruce at her side. Dearly loved wife of Bruce. Daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Irwin, and sister of the late John, David and Wendy Irwin, and Julia and Chris Knowles. Always caring and stoic. She will be sadly missed by her beloved family and friends.
