Passed away peacefully at Coldstream Lifecare, Ashburton, on May 9, 2026, surrounded by family. Much loved husband of Merle, and the late Wendy. Adored father of Andrew and Gail (England), Beth and Barrie Begg, Ben and Kirsty (Wellington), and stepfather of Samantha. Grandad Robbo, Trevor and Pop to the late Tim, Katelyn, Bryce, Luke, Jacques, Hamish, Liam, Emma, George, Freddy, and Barnaby. Loved eldest son of the late Hec and Alma. Brother of Janice and Ken Murdoch (dec), Bev (dec), and Martin Mason, Alan and Anne, and Pam and James White. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
