Dainty Dancers from Life Dance Academy have been rehearsing their Teddy Bears’ Picnic dance ahead of their end of year Christmas shows.

The three to five year olds are among the scores of dancers from the academy to perform under the spotlight this month in their annual Christmas showcase.

Dance teachers Madi Wilson and Anna Raukawa say the dancers have been busy practising away so they can show everyone their dancing goodness.

They will put on six end of year shows, open to the public, at the New Life Church, Melcombe Street in Tinwald on November 19 and 20.

Anyone can come along and support the students who have all learned a special piece to close the show.

It’s a tradition that has become ‘‘super close to our hearts and we can’t wait for you to see it’’.

Tickets cost $10 and are available through the academy’s Facebook page.
